The Clay Clip was first conceived in late 2011 and prototypes underway in early 2012. I spent the next year improving the design and in late 2012 I had promotional units ready. I brought them to SHOT 2013 to show to meet with some people, and shortly afterwards I officially launched the retail units you can see here!
